Corn syrup is basically the liquid malt extract version of corn. Like malt extract, corn syrup is produced by converting corn starches into fermentable sugar with the use of alpha-amylase. Use in beers as a substitute for corn. Mild flavor similar to flaked corn cereal. Contributes 37 gravity points per pound per gallon.
Contains 100% corn syrup with no high fructose corn syrup or other flavorings.
